Driving From Cairns:
It is 141km from Cairns to Thornton Beach and will take a little over 2 hours, If you are coming from the airport turn right onto the Captain Cook highway and follow it north to the small sugar town of Mossman, Drive straight through Mossman and follow the Mossman to Daintree road for about 25km until you reach the "Cape Tribulation National park/ Daintree ferry" sign. Turn right onto Cape Tribulation road and follow it for 3km until you reach the Daintree river car ferry crossing. Cross on the ferry which runs from 5am to midnight every day. Follow the road on the north side of the river for another 20km until you come to Thornton Beach. we are opposite the cafe on the beach.

Please note for food and drink supplies it is best to buy in Mossman or Cairns as the grocery shops in the Daintree Rainforest are quite small.
Look for our signs opposite the cafe on the beach.
