As we have lived in the Daintree rainforest since 1991 we have a lot of
experience with the local tours and are happy to help with any bookings.

3 Day Reef and Rainforest.
Day 1
On your way to Thornton Beach, stop off for a crocodile cruise on the
Daintree River

Lunch with the kangaroos at Lync Haven.
Arrive at Thornton Beach House/Bungalows, take a stroll across the road
and explore Thornton Beach.
Jungle Surfing/Night Walk Combo. Meet at Cape Trib Pharmacy for a 3.30pm
Jungle Surf, returning at 5.30pm.

Dinner at Whet Restaurant.
Jungle Adventures Night Walk. Transfers from Whet Restaurant, or meet
at PK’s reception at 7.30pm, returning at 10pm.

Day 2
Full day reef tour with Rum Runner, meeting on Cape Tribulation Beach
at 8.15am, returning at 4.30pm.
Day 3
On your way home join a guided rainforest walk with Crocodylus Village
at 9.30am
6 Day Action Packed Reef, Rainforest & 4WDriving with a touch of
Pampering
Day 1.
On your way to Thornton Beach, stop off at the Daintree Discovery Centre
for an educational insight into this special area. Also a nice spot for
a light lunch.
Daintree Ice Cream Company for tropical ice cream made from their fruit
orchard.
Check in at Thornton Beach House/Bungalows.
Exotic Fruit Tasting at 2pm including a tour of the orchard, finishing
at 4pm.

Guided Night Walk with Jungle Adventures. Meet at PK’s Jungle Village
at 7.30pm
Day 2
Start your day kayaking around the magnificent Cape Tribulation headland
with Cape Trib Sea Kayaks or Cape Trib Paddle Trek, or for the early birds,
Crocodylus Village has a sunrise paddle trek with a tropical breakfast
and snorkelling equipment provided.

Lunch at Lync Haven, Boardwalk Takeaway or Mason’s Takeaway
Horse riding, where you can ride your horse on the beach and through
the rainforest. Meet at PK’s Jungle Village at 1.00pm, returning
at 4.30pm

Day 3
Jungle Surfing at 8.45am. Meet at Cape Trib Pharmacy. Returning around
11am.
Lunch at the Boardwalk Takeaway or Mason’s Takeaway
Ocean Safari – meet at Jungle Lodge at 12.15 for a ½ day
trip to the Great Barrier Reef, returning at 4.30pm

Day 4
Venture a bit further afield with a full day Cooktown tour, a ½
day Waterfall tour or a full day Home Rule tour with Masons 4WD tours.
Transfers from Thornton Beach House/Bungalows, or meet at Masons Shop
at 7.30am.

Day 5
Treat yourself to a massage at Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa or Heritage
Lodge Spa.
Take a walk on one of the many boardwalks, try to find a cassowary!

Day 6
On the way home stop off at Cooper’s Creek Crocodile Cruise or join
one of the crocodile cruises on the Daintree River.

14 Day See (Almost!) Everything
Day 1
Daintree Ice Cream Company for homemade ice cream
Daintree Entomological Museum for the biggest insect collection in Australia

Arrive at Thornton Beach House/Bungalows
Take a stroll on the beach, walk up to the Bouncing Stones, throw them
and watch them bounce!!
Coopers Creek Crocodile Cruise at 2pm or 3pm

Day 2
Jungle Surfing. Choose one of the morning tours at 8.45am, 9.45am or 10.45am.
Take a picnic lunch to Emmagen Creek, Cape Trib Beach or Dubuji

Exotic Fruit Tasting, 2pm to 4pm including a tour of the orchard
Jungle Adventures Night Walk - meet at PK’s Jungle Village at 7.30pm,
returning at 10pm
Day 3
Ocean Safari ½ day reef tour. Meet at Jungle Lodge Reception at
8.15am, returning at 12.30.
Grab a quick bite to eat at the Boardwalk Takeaway or Mason’s Takeaway.
Horseriding. Meet at PK’s Jungle Village at 1pm, returning at 4.30pm
Day 4
Take a hike up Mt Sorrow for spectacular views over Cape Tribulation and
out to the reef. Approx 6 hours return.

Have a look at the Easter Island Moai on the way back, located at Rainforest
Hideaway B&B on Camelot Close, signposted from the main road in Cape
Tribulation.

Day 5

with Cape Trib Sea Kayaks or Cape Trib Paddle Trek, or for the early birds,

Jindalba Boardwalk for Cassowary spotting
Day 6
A day to chill out. Enjoy the beaches – build sandcastles. Have
a swim at the fresh water swimming holes. Catch up on your reading. Have
a nanna nap!

Day 7
Rum Runner. Meet at Cape Tribulation Beach at 8.15am for a full day tour
to the Great Barrier Reef, returning at 4.30pm

Day 8
Bird Watching with Chris Dahlberg or Dan Irby on the Daintree River. Departure
times from 6am.

Hire a boat and go fishing on the Daintree River. All tackle and a map
of where they’re biting provided. Alternatively, join a guided fishing
tour to the reef.

Day 9
Venture a bit further afield with a full day Cooktown tour, a ½
day Waterfall tour or a full day Home Rule tour with Masons 4WD tours.
Transfers from Thornton Beach House/Bungalows at 7.15am, or meet at Masons
Shop at 7.30am.
Day 10
Give yourself another day of rest!

Day 11 & 12
2 day sea kayaking tour to Snapper Island. Meet at Crocodylus Village
at 7am for an all inclusive tour to this wonderful national park island.
Returning at 4pm the following day.

Day 13
Treat yourself to a massage at Cape Tribulation Resort & Spa or Heritage
Lodge Spa
Day 14
On your way home join a guided rainforest walk with Crocodylus Village
at 9.30am
