Thornton Beach is the Daintree's best kept secret, located 10 minutes south of Cape Tribulation and 20 minutes north of the Daintree River.

This is the jewel in the crown of the Daintree Coast. If you are looking for isolated beaches, breathtaking views and great photo opportunities, look no further.

Just 20 metres from stunning Thornton Beach, surrounded by the Daintree National Park and looking out on the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Thornton Beach Bungalows are the ideal accommodation for a relaxing holiday for 2.

We also have a 2 bedroom holiday house on the same site, and, incorporating the bungalows, our property can sleep up to 8 people.

Our bungalows are solar powered and offer queen size bed, ensuite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities and private verandah with views of the Coral Sea. There are no cooking facilities, for your breakfast or other meals simply stroll across the road to Cafe on Sea, a licensed cafe right on the beach. There are also several other restaurants close by.

This is the perfect base for exploring the Daintree Coast's world famous attractions, including:

Our rates start from A$ 85.00 per night.

To confirm your reservation we ask for a payment of one night's accomodation at the time of booking through Paypal or direct debit. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy and a 5% administration fee for all cancellations.
